HER STORY:
Winky is one of the cats rescued from a hoarder. Her life was an ongoing nightmare, as she was kept captive inside a carrier crate 24 hours a day. She never had the chance to stretch, move freely, feel the sun, or the air on her face. We do not know how, but when she was rescued, she had already lost one of her eyes and required eye removal surgery. Despite everything she went through, Winky proved how strong she is. Today, she is enjoying her freedom in a foster home, where she can finally feel safe and loved. She is now looking for a permanent home where she can continue living as a free spirit, surrounded by care and affection.
CHARACTER:
Despite everything she has been through, Winky is an irresistibly affectionate and playful cat, full of life, tenderness, and an incredible need for human connection. She will quite literally come and lie on top of you, even on your face, asking endlessly for cuddles and closeness, while at night she chooses to sleep beside you, constantly seeking warmth and security in your presence. She is social and can live with other cats and dogs, as long as she is given the right time to adjust. Winky is one of those cats who form deep bonds with their humans and fill a home with love, purrs, and constant companionship. She is looking for a home that will give her the attention, care, and love she truly deserves, because she is a truly wonderful and unique soul.
