HER STORY
In 2024, two of our volunteers moved into a house and began caring for the cats that appeared in their yard. Food and water were always available, while neutering efforts were also carried out regularly. Joey arrived one evening with her mother and sibling, drawn in by the food. After the mother was spayed, her visits gradually became less frequent, while sadly the sibling was never seen again. Joey, however, began to show up every day, eventually becoming almost a permanent presence in the yard. Once she reached adulthood, she was also neutered. Today, we are looking for a home for her, so she can finally leave street life behind for good.

CHARACTER:
Joey can live harmoniously with other cats, as well as with dogs, as long as she is given the necessary time to adjust and all introductions are done gradually and in the right way. When it comes to people, she will approach up to a certain point, but she is not yet comfortable with petting, a boundary the volunteers have respected, even though her sweet face often makes it hard to resist. She clearly shows both the intention and the potential to build trust, and in a safe, calm home environment, she is very likely to reveal her truly interesting and unique personality. She is a little rascal at heart, adventurous, playful, and very food-motivated.
