HER STORY:
The story of Simba is heartbreaking.
She was brought to a veterinary clinic by her previous guardian in a critical condition. She was lying on her side, unable to stand or respond. It was discovered that she had dead fetuses in her uterus, along with severely swollen and ulcerated mammary glands. As if this wasn’t enough, the person responsible for her care disappeared and abandoned her. Despite everything, the veterinarians did everything they could to save her and they succeeded. Simba managed to get back on her feet!
Unfortunately, as there is no available foster home, Simba is still staying at the clinic until a safe and suitable home is found for her. We are looking for a person who will never let her reach such a state again, and who will stand by her as she truly deserves.
CHARACTER:
Based on the information we have, Simba is a fairly energetic dog with a strong and confident personality. She is highly human-oriented and actively seeks companionship and interaction. She does not appear to be leash-trained and tends to pull during walks, which will require training, consistency, and guidance. Simba most likely carries emotional trauma, something that is not surprising given that she was so easily abandoned by her previous guardian. We can only imagine the life she has had and what she has been through. We have no detailed history about her past, and in her current environment it is difficult to fully assess her character. For this reason, anyone interested in adopting her must be willing and able to support her training both financially and in terms of time, with the help of a professional trainer we will recommend.
