Sienna

HER STORY:
Sienna was found on 22/06/23 by a resident in a terrible condition, hidden inside a stream, left waiting for a slow death. Volunteers rushed to the scene and were confronted with a skeletal body, infested with maggots, no longer having the strength to survive. She was immediately transferred to a veterinary clinic, where all the maggots were removed. X-rays revealed a severe fracture in her right hind leg, which required reconstructive surgery. Sienna fought and survived! Today she is in excellent health and is being fostered in a volunteer’s home, waiting for her permanent home.

CHARACTER:
Sienna is still a bit reserved with strangers, but she gains trust quickly and soon begins to reveal her unique personality. She coexists peacefully with both dogs and cats in the home and is crate-trained, remaining calm inside it when needed. She does her needs outdoors, as she goes for walks at least twice a day. On leash, she is excellent and does not pull. She is not a high-energy dog, so she does not require excessive exercise, but she is enthusiastic and therefore needs a gentle, patient approach to help her learn to manage her excitement. We are looking for the person who will truly see her and welcome her as a member of their family.
