HER STORY:
Lilly was found together with her three siblings and their mother in a remote area of Lagonisi, Attica. After two days of coordinated rescue efforts, we managed to safely trap all four fearful puppies, along with their mother. The family had been surviving in extremely harsh conditions, exposed to countless dangers, with no shelter, protection, or proper care. Since her rescue, Lilly has been living in a volunteer foster home, where she has been given the safety and stability every puppy deserves while she waits for her forever family.

CHARACTER:
Lilly is a joyful, active and energetic girl with an endless love for life and play. She is friendly with both dogs and cats, making her a wonderful companion for a home with other pets. She loves to play enthusiastically, so she would thrive with active people and animals who enjoy an energetic lifestyle.
When it comes to unfamiliar people, Lilly needs time to feel safe and build trust. Her initial reaction, driven by fear (most likely due to her experiences as a stray and a lack of proper socialization during puppyhood), is to bark as a warning. She is not the kind of dog who will instantly adore everyone she meets; instead, she needs patience and understanding to realize that she is safe.
Lilly is looking for adopters who are willing to invest time in her training and in building a strong bond with her through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She will first need to develop trust with her new family and, once she feels secure, gradually be introduced to new people through carefully managed, positive experiences. With the right guidance, she has every chance of becoming a confident and well-balanced companion.
