HER STORY:
Crystal was found injured and thrown away like trash in a bin in Athens, Greece. She was between life and death, struggling to breathe and trying to get oxygen through a plastic bag. A passerby found her and took her to a veterinarian, with the intention of euthanasia. Thatโs when we stepped in, deciding that this little one deserved a second chance in life. She was hospitalized in a veterinary clinic, in intensive care, with very limited chances of recovery. In the end, she proved that everyone deserves a second chance at life! Today, she is completely out of danger and is now living in a foster home.

The day she was transferred to the clinic in a comatose state.
CHARACTER:
Crystal needs time to become familiar with the people she will live with, as she is initially quite cautious and reserved. Unfortunately, her vision has not fully recovered, which makes her even more hesitant and insecure. With patience and respect, however, she gradually begins to trust again and accept human touch, something she most likely did not experience while living on the streets. It is important to understand her boundaries and recognize when she is open to interaction, as she is not a cat that enjoys affection at all times or in excess. She may coexist with other cats and dogs, but she does not particularly seek their company, as she prefers peace and her own space. A noisy and highly active environment creates stress for her, so a quiet home will greatly help her adjust and feel safe. Ideally, we are looking for a home without other animals.
