HIS STORY:
Billy was found wandering lost with a broken leash near a Roma settlement. His condition was poor: he was suffering from skin issues and had blood on his face, likely from a fight with another animal. He was visibly hungry and exhausted. Despite this, he accepted our approach and proved to be friendly and cooperative. He was not microchipped and was never claimed, so his background and past experiences remain unknown. Our goal is to find him a suitable home where he can leave everything behind and finally live the life he deserves.
CHARACTER:
Billy may pull a little at the beginning of a walk out of excitement, but he quickly settles and walks comfortably alongside his handler. He is friendly with people, enjoys being petted, and often seeks out play. However, overly intense play, especially from unfamiliar people he has not yet learned to trust, can overwhelm him and at times be misinterpreted as a threat. This is likely linked either to past experiences or inappropriate handling. For safe coexistence with other dogs, he needs proper guidance and gradual, controlled introductions. He is by no means aggressive towards people or animals, but he requires an adopter who will respect his boundaries and approach him with patience and understanding.
